DAVID GASKIN

David has two decades of experience in professional anesthesia. Along with fellow Maverick Dan Nash, David served as a coordinator for Texas Wesleyan University's anesthesia program. He earned a BS in Nursing from Texas Christian University in 1993 and a MS in Health Sciences from Texas Wesleyan in 1998. He currently serves as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Dan has over two decades of experience in professional anesthesia. In addition to developing a post-op pain management program with fellow Maverick David Gaskin, Dan has worked in both small CRNA and large ACT organizations. He earned his MS in Health Sciences (1994) and DNAP (2012) from Texas Wesleyan. He currently works at the St. Anthony Bone & Joint Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Kyle studied at Texas Christian University’s Advanced Pain Management Fellowship before working in a well-established pain management practice in New Hampshire. Currently he provides anesthesia services and performs pain management procedures for the Orthopedic and Sports Performance Institute, a specialized group located in Arizona.

John has a passion for patient care and for teaching and leadership, particularly in the fields of anesthesia and acute surgical pain management. Christian is an assistant professor at Duke University in the Nurse Anesthesia Program and also holds adjunct faculty positions at the University of Iowa and through the partnership between the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Masson enjoys teaching regional anesthesia and helping to simplify and streamline the practitioner’s approaches, specifically in regards to improved efficiency and success of neural blockade. He practices in a small hospital and strives to be a regional anesthesia resource to his surgical and anesthesia colleagues. When he is not practicing or teaching anesthesia, he can be found on his land with his wife and two children, tending to their animals.

Patrick has been a CRNA since 2006 & currently serves as the Chief CRNA in an orthopedic specialty hospital in Oklahoma City. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and has completed the Acute Surgical Pain Management Fellowship at Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia and serves as adjunct faculty for the program. Becky is a registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer. She has over 25 years of experience, specifically with the VA Medical Center and Oklahoma University Medical Center. She is currently adjunct faculty for The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Allied Health and at Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma City.

Megan has been a practicing pain management specialist for many years, including ten years of experience in interventional pain. Since 2017, she has served on faculty in various roles with the AANA Jack Neary courses. Megan is proud to have worked in several different pain management settings, from private practice to critical access hospitals to her current work of opening Providence St. Joseph’s first pain management clinic in Alaska.

Amy spent seven years at the University of Vermont Medical Center working as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, as a quality assurance leader, and also as an instructor at Champlain College. Mindy proudly mentored under and practiced pain management with Jack Neary, CRNA. With years of experience under her belt, she practiced pain management full time since 2004. Mindy is one of the founders of the Hamline University Pain Management Fellowship and is also faculty for the Pain Management Fellowship at Texas Christian University.

Jason has been teaching ultrasound guided regional anesthesia to CRNAs, SRNAs, and RRNAs for years, both through Maverick and at multiple schools in their nurse anesthesia programs. He earned his MS in Health Sciences in 1999 and his Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice in 2011 from Texas Wesleyan. His education continued as he completed his fellowship for Post Graduate Certification in Pain Management from Texas Christian University in 2017. Jason is currently the chief CRNA for the Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Steven is a graduate of several programs including the University of Tennessee College of Nursing, the University of Nebraska Medical Center Nurse Anesthesia Program, the Kansas University Medical Center Nurse Anesthesia Masters Program, and the Duke University Doctor of Nursing Practice Program. James earned his Masters in Nurse Anesthesia from Texas Wesleyan University. He completed the TCU Advanced Pain Management Fellowship in 2019, & was subspecialty certified in Non Surgical Pain Management by the NBCRNA in Dec 2019. James has been providing Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia since 2014 and has taught with Maverick since 2015. James has trained RRNA's from multiple schools as well as CRNA's post anesthesia school in Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia.

Joshua is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan Univeristy Graduate Program of Nurse Anesthesia. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. He developed a passion early on for the use of ultrasound in his practice including regional anesthesia and POCUS. He has a love for teaching and spreading knowledge of USGRA as well as learning new techniques along the way.

DUSTIN GILL

Dustin earned his Bachelors in Biology at Northwestern State University before transitioning to work on his undergraduate and masters degree in nursing at McNeese State University and Duke University. Dustin belongs to a number of professional organizations and participates in continuing education on regular basis, placing special interest in Central and Peripheral nerve blocks and airway management advanced techniques. His desire to increase the access to CRNA Professional Advocacy makes him not only a wonderful instructor, but a mentor to help guide our students.
