I have to fly back home and may need to leave the course early. What should I do?2024-12-24T12:39:55-06:00

We understand that people may have to leave our courses a few hours early to get back home at a reasonable time in order to be at work the next day. To help accommodate this, each of our courses primary instruction/needling time are scheduled to end around noon on the final day of the course with a break for lunch. After a ~1 hour break for lunch the course lab will remain open and available for “open lab” where participants can stay as long as they want to continue practicing what they have learned or speak with our instructors.

We recommend that people needing to leave the course earlier than 5:00pm to catch a flight, try to book a flight for 3:00pm or later. This way you can finish your primary practice/instruction time, eat a quick lunch, and then leave without missing anything other than the open lab practice time. Leaving a few hours early this way on the final day will not affect your CE’s earned for attending the course.

However, should you choose to not attend the final day of a lab at all, that will result in issues with earning your CE’s for attending that day of the course.

I’m having trouble accessing my content on my mobile device.2024-12-24T12:40:52-06:00

If you use the Skyepack app on your phone or tablet, some of the interactive functions will not work. We recommend using the App as a reference tool such as to access the VIPs when you are out and about but not to complete the program.

You will get full functionality of the modules if you use a browser and log-in to the program through our website at https://courses.maverickmeded.com/account/login or go to www.maverickmeded.com and click on Access Courses in the menu bar. We recommend using the Google Chrome browser to access your content.

When will I receive my AANA CE’s?2025-01-03T11:15:16-06:00

Within two weeks after the hands-on lab, you will be contacted by a member of the Maverick team with an official Maverick certificate of completion and your CE’s will have been submitted to the AANA.

However, if you did not sign in to attendance at the hands-on lab, complete the online didactic modules post test, complete the online didactic modules evaluation, and/or complete the hands-on lab evaluation then we can not submit your CE’s to the AANA. If you have not done one or more of these tasks then instead of receiving the Maverick certificate of completion, a Maverick team member will reach out to you asking you to complete whatever tasks you are missing. Once all of these tasks have been completed, you will then receive the certificate of completion and your CE’s will be submitted to the AANA.

I am not a CRNA. Can I still earn CE’s for completing a Maverick course?2024-12-24T13:38:03-06:00

Only CRNA’s can earn the AANA Class A CE credits for completing one of our courses. Due to demand and cost of accrediting, Maverick Medical Education courses are only approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and no other accrediting body.

Other medical professionals are welcome to take Maverick courses, but will need to self-report to their respective accrediting body for continuing education credits. Maverick will be happy to provide any documentation needed for self-reporting. If you need to self-report please contact Maverick and let us know the exact documents/information you need for your accrediting body: Contact Us
