In this course, healthcare professionals will dive deep into the essential and advanced aspects of regional anesthesia. Through a combination of online didactic modules and hands-on training with cadavers and live models, participants will build both fundamental and advanced nerve block skills.
In the foundational portion of the course, participants will focus on the core skills necessary for safe and effective regional anesthesia, including:
- Ultrasound-guided nerve block techniques
- Anatomical landmarks for regional anesthesia
- Peripheral nerve blocks
- Safety protocols and complication management
This section is ideal for practitioners new to regional anesthesia or those looking to strengthen their foundational skills. Hands-on training will cover the following basic nerve blocks:
- Axillary
- Adductor Canal
- Interscalene
- PENG/LFCN
- Popliteal Plexus
- Popliteal Sciatic
- Supraclavicular
In the advanced portion, participants will build on their essential knowledge and explore more complex blocks and specialized techniques. Key areas of focus include:
- Advanced ultrasound-guided techniques for deeper and more challenging nerve blocks
- Continuous catheter techniques for longer-term pain management
- New and emerging methods in regional anesthesia
- Advanced clinical decision-making and complication management

- Genicular
