Attending conferences is a vital part of medicine, whether you are a doctor, nurse, or have a specialty with a different title. This continuing education provides medical professionals with information on new discoveries, life saving techniques, and content that will improve their practices in minute and magnificent ways. Maverick Medical Education is passionate about attending conferences, both as learners and exhibitors, each year.

ADCE Conference

Nurse Anesthesiologists from around the world will soon converge on Tucson, AZ to learn more about methods, techniques, and applications to better serve their practices at the Assembly of Didactic and Clinical Educators. This event, being held February 12-15, will bring educators and nurse anesthetists together to expand their knowledge and to collaborate with others through workshops, lectures, and exhibitions. The conference, held by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology will include sessions on the use of AI in teaching and research, revisions to standards, clinical simulations, and more will be highlights of the conference.

Maverick Presence

Both David Gaskin, founder, and Dena Gaskin, COO, will be at the ADCE Conference this year, to network with colleagues, to continue our own learning in new methods and practices, and to host a booth for individuals interested in learning more about our programs and partnerships that we hold. We want to meet each attendee to let them know a little about who we are. We also look forward to learning from the expert speakers who will be helping with this year’s conference and hope there are a number of takeaways we can use in education programs going forward.

Education and Partnership

More importantly, we are hoping to represent Maverick Medical Education, the partnerships we already have in place, and the potential for new partnerships going forward. We continue to host our own courses with in person lab training throughout the year. We are also expanding our reach as we partner with new universities and college programs to work with nurse anesthesiology students in their current curriculum. Some of these programs are with Texas Wesleyan, The University of Tulsa, New Mexico State University, Arkansas State University, and many more stretched across the United States. These university partnerships have two courses associated with them, our Regional Anesthesia Essential Techniques and Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) with Vascular Access courses. By working with Maverick, students are guaranteed to have cutting edge education within their existing courses. During the conference, we will have information on our stand-alone courses and the opportunities for more university partnerships.

To learn more about our partnerships, come see us at the ADCE Conference at Booth 36 or reach out to us directly. Individuals wanting to start on courses can enroll online today and begin with their online modules and groups wanting a partnership can to begin getting the information they need to get a leg up in anesthesia education. If you’ve trained with Maverick Medical Education before or are currently partnered with us, we’d love to connect! Swing by our booth and say hello!
