Grasshopper Anesthesia Sponsorship
As our commitment to innovative and revolutionary training in pain relief methods continues to grow, we see other areas of growth at Maverick Medical Education as well. We see growth in knowledge with research and development in new skills and techniques. We see growth in our Maverick team as we increase the number of instructors to train in these methods. We also see growth in the partnerships we are creating around the country with groups like Grasshopper Anesthesia. We are thrilled to partner with them at our SRNA/RRNA Essentials Nerve Block Event in Fort Worth, TX.
Grasshopper Anesthesia
James and Kendra Stockman are Texans who, just like Maverick Medical Education, are committed to quality pain relief care and management for medical practices throughout the region and beyond. Both are CRNAs who studied and practiced in various settings before founding their own services. Their approach is for each patient to feel well cared for, with an emphasis on ethical behavior and compassion in every interaction. These principles, paired with patient monitoring and technological integration to track patient satisfaction makes them a natural fit to partner with the Maverick team. Patient satisfaction means patients who feel their pain is being acknowledged and managed well, for both Grasshopper and Maverick.
The Event Basics
The event was created to offer SRNAs and RRNAs the opportunity to learn the same skills practiced by CRNAs in the professional setting. These students have a growing passion and interest for anesthesia education and rather than making them wait for exposure to these methods, we can begin fostering their drive to learn more with this Essentials Nerve Block Event. Ultrasound basics, in-depth anatomical instruction, and hands on guidance for a number of blocks, including the axillary, femoral, interscalene, and supraclavicular block will be covered. Students will get to use the exclusive and patented pulsatile cadaver specimens for a more realistic training experience. Maverick Medical Education uses a flipped classroom model to offer content instruction ahead of time through online learning modules before meeting in person to practice our techniques through hands-on practice and repetition.
The Event Details
This inaugural event will be held on September 7th at the UNT Health Science Center from 8am-5pm. Students will have the opportunity to learn from several of our Maverick Instructors while practicing these essential techniques. Online didactic training modules give foundational learning ahead of time for students to learn at their own pace and review old and new medical terms and content. Grasshopper Anesthesia Services will be on site as part of this event and training. While learning at this one day training event, students will also have the opportunity to network with Grasshopper, our Maverick Instructor Team, and other SRNAs and RRNAs, providing them with valuable contacts for future educational and professional opportunities.
