The Advanced Fluoroscopic Injections course is for medical providers who have previous experience practicing some of the basic chronic pain interventions and want to increase their knowledge and skills.

Course Content:

28 AANA Class A CE Hours

Online Didactic Modules Topics :
(Online didactic modules will open at least 6 weeks prior to lab)

• Complex Pain Assessment and Diagnosis
• Advanced Radiological Interpretation
• Advanced Scientific Basis of Pharmacology
• Red Flags of Pain Management

The online didactic modules have been approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 12.00 Class A CE credits.

Hands-On Cadaver lab stations:  

• Cervical Epidural Steroid Injections
• Cervical Medial Branch Nerve Blocks
• Cervical/Thoracic/Lumbar Radiofrequency Ablation/Lesioning of the Medial Branch Nerve
• Thoracic Epidural Steroid Injections

The hands-on cadaver lab has been approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 16.00 Class A CE credits.

SATURDAY LAB SCHEDULE

• 8:00am-9:00am: Orientation & Breakfast (Provided by Maverick)
• 9:00am-12:00pm: Hands-on Cadaver Lab & Physical Exam Stations
• 12:00pm-1:00pm: Lunch (Provided by Maverick)
• 1:00pm-5:00pm: Hands-on Cadaver Lab & Physical Exam Stations

SUNDAY LAB SCHEDULE

• 7:45am-8:00am: Breakfast (Provided by Maverick)
• 8:00am-12:00pm: Hands-on Cadaver Lab & Physical Exam Stations
• 12:00pm-1:00pm: Lunch (Provided by Maverick)
• 1:00pm-3:00pm: Cadaver Testing & Open Cadaver Lab
