Infographic titled “2025 by the Numbers: A Year with Maverick” showing key stats: 77 people trained at an onsite lab; attendees from all 50 U.S. states plus Canada and Puerto Rico; top attendee states—Texas (132), California (53), Florida (36), Illinois (26), South Carolina (24); 39 labs hosted; 1,308 people attended at least one course; 99.8% of Mastering course attendees would recommend the program.

As 2025 came to a close, we took a moment to look back at the numbers behind the year and what they represent. While statistics can never fully capture the impact of hands-on education, they do tell an important story about growth, reach, and the strength of the Maverick community.

A Year of Nationwide Training

In 2025, Maverick hosted 39 hands-on labs, training providers, and students across the country through in-person courses, onsite programs, and university partnerships. Over the course of the year, 1,308 providers and students attended at least one Maverick course, marking another year of continued growth in our hands-on training programs.

We were proud to welcome providers and students from every corner of the United States in 2025. With attendees representing all 50 states, along with participants from Canada and Puerto Rico, our courses brought together a truly diverse learning community.

Supporting Education at Every Level

University programs remained a cornerstone of Maverick’s mission in 2025. We trained over 487 RRNAs across 15 academic programs, supporting students at a critical stage in their professional development. These partnerships allowed us to integrate hands-on education directly into academic training, reinforcing skills that translate into clinical confidence.

We also expanded our onsite education efforts, training 77 clinicians through onsite lab programs, bringing advanced instruction directly into hospitals and institutions.

Launching Our Mastering Regional Anesthesia Techniques Course

The debut of the Mastering Regional Anesthesia Techniques course marked a major milestone for Maverick in 2025. Designed to meet growing demand for advanced, hands-on education, the course quickly became one of our most sought-after offerings. More than 30 RRNAs were able to attend through the Hank Dougherty Memorial Scholarship, expanding access to high-level training for learners committed to advancing their practice.

Attendees overwhelmingly praised the Mastering course, with 99.8% willing to recommend it to their peers, proving the effectiveness of the new course and hands-on learning experience.

Maverick’s Move to Matrix

A major highlight of 2025 was Maverick’s move to Matrix Medical Training Lab, our new state-of-the-art training facility. This purpose-built facility elevates hands-on learning through a flexible, open-concept design that supports real-world training, collaboration, and high-quality anesthesia education. Matrix strengthens our ability to train learners in a realistic, high-fidelity environment, elevating both skills development and clinical confidence. This move sets the stage for even greater growth and innovation in 2026!

What the Numbers Really Mean

While the growth in labs, learners, and geographic reach is exciting, these numbers ultimately represent something bigger: confidence built, skills refined, and patient care improved. As we move into 2026, we’re grateful for every student, instructor, and partner who contributed to these milestones. The numbers tell a strong story, but the people behind them are what truly make Maverick Medical Education what it is.
