Josh began his career as an RN at University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX in the Surgical and Burn ICU. He continued his education at Texas Wesleyan University for CRNA school. After a limited ultrasound guided regional anesthesia experience at his clinical site, he attended the Maverick Essentials course, then the Advanced course and finally taking the POCUS course to gain a wide breadth of knowledge in this field. He began working as an instructor for Maverick his first year out of school and developed a passion for ultrasound use and teaching. Josh continued on his education by attending the Non-Surgical Pain Management Fellowship at Texas Christian University and went on to practice pain management in Weatherford, TX before moving to College Station, TX to join Republic Pain Specialists where he practices interventional pain management full time.
