Eric has been involved in and is passionate about ultrasound guided regional anesthesia as a practitioner, an educator, and a researcher since the technology was in its infancy in the 2000’s. At Rush University Medical Center, Eric had the opportunity to learn from the pioneers in USGRA alongside members and fellows of the acute surgical pain service. Eric witnessed the transformation of modern anesthesia practice through the use of ultrasound and earned a Doctorate from Missouri State University in 2021. Eric precepts students from Marion University in Indianapolis, Indiana and enjoys teaching colleagues “new tools to have in their box”. Eric is an affiliate of the American Society for Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
