In 2025 alone, Maverick trained over 487 RRNAs across 14 nurse anesthesia programs, reinforcing our role as a trusted partner in advanced anesthesia education. Since 2020, SRNA/RRNA participation in Maverick training has steadily increased, reflecting both growing demand and expanding institutional partnerships.

Expanding Access Through Scholarships & Specialized Training
The Hank Dougherty Memorial Scholarship was established to honor a late CRNA pioneer who played a pivotal role in introducing Maverick Medical Education to ultrasound-based training. Hank’s passion for education and unwavering support of students continue to influence Maverick’s mission today.
Each Maverick course offers four RRNA scholarship spots at the significantly discounted Hank Dougherty rate, expanding access to hands-on regional anesthesia and ultrasound training. In 2025, more than 30 RRNAs attended the Mastering Regional Anesthesia Techniques course through this scholarship, gaining advanced skills while carrying forward Hank’s legacy of mentorship.
