Regional Anesthesia Essential Techniques
This course covers ultrasound basics, in-depth anatomical instruction, and extensive, hands-on needle guidance techniques for essential peripheral nerve blocks. This block training is performed on our patented pulsatile cadaver specimens which offers the most realistic block training in medical education.

Program Structure
Online Didactic + Hands-on Lab
This course will be conducted in the same way we train our CRNAs for continuing education. First, we provide students with 26 online didactic modules to be taken at your own pace before attending the lab. Next, we host our human specimen pulsatile cadaver lab at various labs in the North Texas Area. Here students will gain a full day of hands-on needle and probe training while using a variety of the latest ultrasound machines.

Saturday Lab Schedule
The SRNA/RRNA Essentials Nerve Block Event will take place Saturday September 7th. This is a one-day lab event which will cover the exact same content as our usual CRNA courses and provide the same experience of practicing blocks on Maverick’s patented Pulsatile Cadaver.
Saturday evening Maverick Medical Education and the event sponsor, Grasshopper Anesthesia Services, will host a social mixer for all students to attend. The event will be hosted at Rodeo Goat in the Fort Worth Cultural District.
