Travel Information

As of March 2025, all Maverick Medical Education hands-on labs will be held at the Matrix Medical Training Lab in Humble, Texas. If you have any questions about travel arrangements for upcoming labs, please contact us.

The Matrix Medical Training Lab is located just 10 minutes from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)! We therefore recommend searching for flights in and out of this airport. It is a major international airport which all the major airlines (American Airlines, United, Delta, etc.) fly in and out of which should make it easy to find a flight.

If you are unable to find a flight that works for you at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOBBY) is another airport located on the south side of Houston you can search at.

Be aware that this airport does not offer as many flights as IAH. Due to its location on the far opposite side of Houston, it may take 35 minutes – 1.5 hours, depending on traffic, to travel from the airport to the lab. Be sure to plan accordingly if you book a flight from William P. Hobby Airport (HOBBY).

Maverick is in the process of building relationships and partnerships with hotels in the nearby area around the Matrix Medical Training Lab. Because of the lab’s proximity to the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, there are plenty of hotels in the area that are reasonably priced.

At the moment, Maverick does not have any hotel recommendations or discounts for places to stay in the area. We will update this webpage as soon as we have more information, places we recommend staying, and any discounts we are able to provide.
